Travis Kelce Keeps Cooking for Taylor Swift Private, Confirms Romance

Travis Kelce provided a nuanced response to a question about his connection with Taylor Swift, stating that cooking for the singer is a very “personal” gesture.

Travis Kelce simply wants to stay in that purple cloud.

That’s why the Kansas City Chiefs tight end chose not to discuss his home life with girlfriend Taylor Swift right now, jokingly brushing off a question about what they like to make on a date night.

“I respect that question,” he said during a press conference on June 11, “but I’m gonna keep that one to myself.”

The 34-year-old went on, “Because I thoroughly enjoy cooking with her, so it’s something I’d rather keep personal.”

Travis, however, confirmed the suburban legends about the singer’s cooking skills, telling the writer, “Taylor makes a great Pop-Tart and cinnamon roll.”

Taylor, 34, initially hinted at the success of her and Travis’ collaboration in April, when she uploaded a video montage recapping her fortnight set to her lead tune from The Tortured Poets Department.

In addition to shots from her Eras Tour rehearsal, the video showed the Grammy winner cooking over a stove while Travis moved in for a lovely kiss on her cheek.

Travis later discussed how he manages to remain humble despite their high-profile connection. “When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life much easier,” the NFL player said during an excellent Morning America appearance on June 6. “I have always been a really grounded person. I may not come across as such when playing football, but off the field, I simply want to be a genuine guy.

He added of his current chapter, “I’m so fortunate and grateful for everything that’s come my way in life.”
