Outlander’s Sam Heughan Plans to Steal Taylor Swift’s Heart in Scotland!

Outlander star Sam Heughan has big plans for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour event in Edinburgh, including catching the pop star’s attention.

In a behind-the-scenes Instagram video posted on Wednesday, June 5, Heughan, 44, expressed his intention to attend a Taylor Swift concert in Scotland. “I think most of the cast is going.”

Heughan said, “She doesn’t know this, but when she comes to Scotland and sees me in the audience, she’ll forget about him and fall for a man in a ginger wig.” How could she resist? She’ll shake him off and take me out instead. “I’m very excited.”

The Scottish actor, who plays Jamie Fraser in Outlander, has not revealed which Eras show he will attend. Swift, 34, will perform three gigs at Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium beginning on Friday, June 7.

“Welcome to Scotland, Taylor,” Heughan captioned his image. “JAMMF is a Swiftie.”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been dating for a year, although Heughan did not mention his name in his Wednesday post. Kelce, 34, met her during her Eras Tour in July 2023. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end attended her Missouri event, ready with a homemade friendship bracelet to give the pop queen.

Kelce mentioned on his “New Heights” podcast that she doesn’t converse before or after her gigs to spare her voice for the 44 songs she sings, which he found disappointing. “So I was a little butthurt. I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her … with my number on it.”

He went on, “She doesn’t meet anyone—or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personally. But that was an incredible performance. Kansas City turned out.”

Swift’s second cousin Danny Frye III, who acted as a matchmaker, listened to Kelce’s appeals.
