Aleksandra Mirosław, the renowned Polish sport climber and two-time Speed world champion, made history at the Paris 2024 Olympics by breaking her own world record twice in a single day during the women’s Speed climbing event. Her performance left the audience at the Le Bourget Climbing Venue in awe as she showcased unparalleled speed and precision.

In her first run, Mirosław climbed the 15-meter wall in an astonishing 6.21 seconds, surpassing her previous record of 6.24 seconds set in September 2023. The crowd erupted in cheers as she effortlessly scaled the wall, celebrating her achievement with a triumphant descent. However, this was just the beginning of her record-breaking spree.

Less than 20 minutes later, Mirosław returned to the wall for her second climb. This time, with even more determination, she raced up the wall in just 6.06 seconds, setting a new world record and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the sport of speed climbing. The feat brought her within milliseconds of the elusive six-second barrier, a milestone that seemed out of reach just a few years ago.

Mirosław’s performance was not only a testament to her skill and training but also to her mental fortitude under pressure. Competing against South Africa’s Aniya Holder, Mirosław remained focused and composed, delivering a flawless climb that cemented her status as one of the greatest athletes in sport climbing history.
