The 34-year-old is expecting her first child with husband Tom Ackerley, multiple sources confirmed to People. Viral snaps of the Barbie star—who may now find Midge more relatable—also show her proudly displaying her bump in a navy suit set and white tee, which she wore cropped to show off her belly. 

Slip-on sandals, a woven shoulder bag, and a beaming smile completed her radiant look as she stood next to Ackerley in photos.

The couple, who are notoriously private, quietly got married in 2016. As a movie producer, Ackerley has worked on plenty of projects with his wife—even founding a production company together—although this will undoubtedly be their biggest collaboration yet.

Robbie’s news follows the record-breaking success of Barbie, assisted by a hectic press tour that saw the actor play the part both on-screen and on the red carpet. With the help of celebrity stylist Andrew Mukamal, the movie star showed off numerous hot-pink ensembles that paid homage to different variations of Barbie over the decades, including the toy’s original 1954 swimsuit and a ’80s-era two-in-one power suit. Despite not receiving an Oscar nomination for her work in the film, the actor’s red carpet presence was impressive.

After completing her press tour last year, she has adopted a more casual street look, wearing multiple denim suit sets, baggy trousers, and boxy blazers. 

Her maternity looks will likely draw on this delicate blend of cool and comfort, although judging by her belly-baring look, she’s ready to show off her new era.
