Hailey and Justin Bieber on Raising Kids with Respect and Awareness
Hailey and Justin Bieber, ‘They will be raised knowing why we don’t say certain things, and why we respect, appreciate, and give credit where credit is due,’ the model says.
Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber plan to teach their children to “respect and acknowledge” others.
Hailey and Justin married in a secret civil wedding in New York in September 2018, eight months after announcing their engagement.
After a year of marriage, the couple held a second wedding ceremony in South Carolina.
Hailey and Justin, who have been married for almost two years, addressed how they plan to educate their children in an interview with Vogue India.
During the Black Lives Matter campaign earlier this year, the model questioned how she might “step up” and “be an ally”.
“It was time to look inside and reflect: what do I not know, what do I need to ask, how can I step up and do the best that I can to be an ally in the Black Lives Matter movement?” she went on.
The 23-year-old also stated that she will guarantee that any future children she has have a better grasp of the subject.
“They will be raised knowing how to treat people, why we don’t say certain things, and why we respect and acknowledge and give credit where credit it due,” Hailey told me.
During the conversation, Hailey discussed the many levels of popularity she and Justin experienced as children while growing up in the spotlight.
Despite coming from a family of famous entertainers, her father is actor Stephen Baldwin and her uncle is actor Alec Baldwin, Hailey claims she did not feel famous as a child.
“Of course, I knew my father was an actor and he was famous to an extent, but if I was to compare how I grew up to how Justin did, he’s had a way crazier ‘famous’ experience really young,” the woman who modeled stated.
“Whereas I got to grow up and get my driver’s licence and really be normal until the past three years of my life.”
