Christina Hall Accuses Josh Hall of $35K Unauthorised Transfer
Christina Hall claimed her estranged husband Josh Hall made an unlawful transfer of more than $35,000 to his personal bank account one day after she broke up with him.
Christina Hall is not flippant about her divorce from Josh Hall.
In court documents acquired by Eonline360 on July 25, the Flip or Flop alum accused her estranged spouse of transferring over $35,000 to his personal bank account without her authorization.
According to Christina’s divorce filings, Josh called her property manager on July 8 and requested that proceeds from Tennessee rentals be transferred to his personal account.
“The property manager complied with the request, believing I had authorised the change of accounts,” the 41-year-old stated in a signed affidavit, noting that her ex’s request was “not accurate because I had no personal contact with Josh on July 8, 2024.”
She kept going: “I would not have asked him to send himself my money the day after I told him we are getting divorced.”
The Christina on the Coast star refuted that she and Josh broke up on July 8, as reported in his divorce papers.
“Quite frankly I am shocked and concerned by the fact that he has diverted over $35,000 of my separate property money to his separate account on July 8, 2024,” Christina wrote to me. “The fact that this is the same date he now alleges to be our date of separation, even though it is actually July 7, 2024, makes it clear why he chose the next day.”
Christina also accused Josh of withholding funds for a Carson, California, property that she is currently refurbishing. She stated that the property is currently titled to a limited liability company (LLC). Josh had set up without her knowledge that named him as its sole manager and owner.
“My separate property company Christina Entertainment, LLC transferred $200,000 to improve the property,” she said in an email. “That money must be spent during the course of this project, and time is of the essence because it is currently underway. I can’t access the monies, and Josh has refused to hand over the LLC and account to me so that I can do my job.”
Christina is now requesting the return of the $35,000 deposited to Josh’s bank account, as well as the transfer of control of the Carson property LLC to her ex-partner.
Josh’s divorce papers state that all property earned during their two-year marriage should be divided equally. However, Christina wants exclusive use of their shared Newport Beach home for the time being until their legal separation is resolved.
Christina, who has three children with ex Tarek El Moussa (Taylor, 13, Broyden, 8) and Hudson, 4, with Ant Anstead, noted in her declaration that her life focuses around her children and career. “It is my understanding that Josh has his own income and therefore he should not need any spousal support from me.”
Reflecting on her legal status, Christina stated, “It makes me wonder what else I am unaware of regarding his financial situation, which is why I am having a full forensic accounting performed for the duration of our marriage.
