Adele has made it clear that she will not tolerate hateful comments during her concerts.

Over the weekend, the Grammy-winner issued a profanity-laced response to an audience member who called out “Pride sucks” during her concert, a reference to the annual LGBTQ+ community recognition and celebration.

“Excuse me, did you come to my f***ing show and just say that ‘Pride sucks’?” Adele said, clearly aggravated by the outburst. “Are you f**king stupid?” “Don’t be f***ing ridiculous.”

The audience shouted and praised Adele throughout the discussion, as she proceeded to warn the heckler, “If you have nothing pleasant to say, shut up. Alright?”

Pride Month, celebrated annually in June, brings together LGBTQ+ groups worldwide to celebrate their right to be themselves.

It is unclear whether the audience member who yelled stayed for the remainder of the concert. The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has yet to react to CNN’s request about the matter.

Adele is well-known for her interaction with the audience during her Las Vegas residency gigs. Last year, she admonished a security guard for “bothering” a fan and requested the audience to “leave him alone.”

Weekends with Adele started in 2021. The singer will take a break from her Las Vegas act in August to perform a unique “Adele in Munich” concert series in Germany. She will return to North America in November to complete her residency.
